What is Source Code in web development?
Every site you see on your web browser stands on the coding without that coding there is visuals of the site. It is like a building can not stand without pillars or anything you eat can not be made exactly like that without knowing the ingredients. So this coding is actually the pillar or ingredients you just see what is outside.
When you will open a coding of a site you can just see the html, css structure or links in it. Not each and every coding is available in the source codes like dynamic coding is not visible to the world.
How to view the source code of a web page?
The browsers of 2014 each have the same way to check the source code. Specifically i am talking about Mozilla (Firefox), Google Chrome, Opera, Torch, and Internet Explorer. Please make sure you are using the latest versions of 2014 because before that there were different ways to check the sources.
- Open a website and use short cut Ctrl+U
- Open a website and Right Click
- In the Drown click on option Source ( Opera and Internet Explorer) or View Page Source (Other Browsers)
Some times right click is disabled on some sites so just open a site and use the browsers menu to view the source code.
Internet Explorer: Go to View > > Source
Mozillah Firefox: Go to Web Developer > Page Source
Google Chrome: Go to Tools > View Source
Opera Browser: Go to Developer tools > View page source
I use this option the most. You just have to put view-source: before the link and the the source code will open for you. For example the to view the source code of my site you will just have to type in your browser.
These are the most recommended and easy ways to check the source code of a site or there are sites and software's too who help you in this matter. I hope you like it and if you have any questions feel free to ask me in the comments or through my contact page.
